Description:

Spotted this California Bulrush while I was hiking in Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve, Oakland, CA. The plants were so tall. Schoenoplectus californicus, a monocot, is a perennial herb that is native to California and is also found elsewhere in North America and beyond.

Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve, Oakland, CA.
