Spotted about 4PM at Gussie Field Watterworth Park in Farmers Branch, TX.

You are welcome! Some of the day flying moths do look a lot like skippers but you can tell the difference by looking at their antennae - all butterflies have 'clubs' (a thickening) at the end, moths don't have this. Nice photo by the way - I love his little green eye!

How cool! Its wings have a skipperlike shape even though it's a moth. Great face, too.
It's not a skipper but a species of day-flying moth!
