Description:

Spotted these birch trees in the Thornhill Nursery, Oakland,CA. I love the white trunks and the curling bark. I do not know the specific species name.

it's actually a type of Birch. Paper bark birch would be my guess, however without seeing the leaves, I am unsure of which species it is. :-D hope this helps some.
