Description:
A "giant shield bug" (Tessaratomidae). See also http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7120105.
Habitat:
This spotting in coastal zone village yard (surrounded by ocean beach, sago swamp and forest).
Notes:
The common name of the family "giant shield bugs" doesn't seem appropriate to this species...It is not particularly large.
