Description:

About 18-24 inches long. Darker on top than sides. Perhaps a type of garter snake.

Brandon ... Sorry for taking so long to respond and thanks for the ID suggestion. They certainly do come in a variety of patterns and colorations.
Very similar in coloration to the Florida Specimen picture at the bottom. These little guys have several color variations through out the entire east coast. I have seen several different color phases in my yard and gardens this past year.
