Was informed by a friend that these are the Greater Sandhill Crane, I guess there is a smaller subspecies that is predominant on the west coast.
I thought maybe it was a corn field. I love these birds!
They were in a corn field that had just been picked. It was a drive by picture shooting! Thks for the comment.
