Field Notes

Description:

Is a species of passerine bird of the family Ptilogonatidae native to the mountains of Costa Rica and western Panama.

Habitat:

They are found in forests, and on forest edges. Usually they stop at the end of the branches, in tall trees, although it can be observed at low levels when feeding on berries in the bushes.

Notes:

Location: In the Hotel Paradise Quetzal Lodge about 2 km from the National Park.

Costa Rica.
