Description:
These Rocky Mountain Goats are in a group of Goats that still has some DNA puzzles. They are not a member of Capra the True Goats. Found only in NA. Sure footed; Both Sexes have horns and beards; Males are larger than Females; Able to withstand -50* F /-46* C; 3' / 1m at the shoulder; Weighing in at 100 - 300 lbs.

Alpine delight... from Alaska down thru Canada, Montana, Wyoming and more but not much !
Notes:
We are pretty much guaranteed a looksee at these Alpine beasts in mid Summer up in the Beartooth Mtns of Southcentral Montana. A good 2 hrs from downtown Billings or 1 hour from Red Lodge, Montana, over the Beartooth Highway to Cooke City...which means you have to go through Wyoming to get back into Montana. It is a gorgeous drive in the Summer.
