Description:

A male Heliophanus kochii, a very common jumping spider, on a Glebionis coronaria plant, in Nea Demetrias, Volos city, Greece.
It's prosoma is dark brown or black, with a metallic sheen, with single white scales near anterior eyes. Sternum dark brown. Legs brown or black with white short stripes. Opisthosoma dark brown, anterior margin with narrow white band and dorsally with 2 pairs of white oblong marks.
Body length male: 3.2-4 mm
