Description:

Any help is appreciated! This is a lovely big, blue Dragonfly. The tip of the body is dark blue/black. Could this be a Blue Skimmer (Orthetrum caledonicum)? I was looking at this site: http://www.dragonflypix.com/ausspeciespages/orthetrum_caledonicum.html

Habitat:

Perched on this twig near the long trough near the Prison Boab Tree.
