Description:

For as long as I was watching (which was a good amount of time), these Nuthatches were in a heated battle between some Carolina Chickadees for the squirrel food = Nuts, Corn, and Seeds. One at a time would fly onto the container and take one and fly before the other took it's place. It was a very cute scene to watch!

Yes. The titmouse is pretty much all grey except for the forehead above the beak, where it is black. I often mix up the nuthatch and the Carolina Chickadee! Sometimes they all just look alike! Haha
I am always getting these birds mixed up with the tufted titmouse.
