Description:

Two-tone brown with yellow, squarish spots.

Habitat:

This particular one: In my bathroom in my cabin in North-Eastern Colombia, on the slopes of the San Lorenzo Ridge in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, above the town of Santa Marta, Colombia.

Notes:

Aside from cute, very calm and friendly.

"..recognized by their distinctive long snout and geniculate antennae with small clubs...They are among the families of weevils that have non-elbowed antennae."

"Brentidae is a cosmopolitan family of primarily xylophagous beetles also known as straight-snouted weevils."
