Thanks Bong Ambutong and LarsKorb :)
Thanks Carol and KarenL! I love these bee flies... they're so mellow and fun to watch.
Great macro textless!
I have been using my canon 55-250mm EFS IS, I also have a Tamron 75-300, a canon EF 50, and an EFS 18-55. I should probably start stepping down and using the 18-55, or the 50, but because I am often shooting distances for birds and butterflies and mammals, the 55-250 makes for an all around GREAT lens to carry. I may end up getting something a bit bigger to go with the 5d I am going to buy, and just carry two cameras, one with the tele-macro, and the other with the 18-55 macro.
WOW. Timing is perfect.
Thanks Brandon. I have a Canon Rebel body with a Tamron 60mm f/2.0 macro lens. I really love the lens and use it for almost everything.
this is an awesome Macro Shot!!! What gear are you using?
Thanks for the nice comments! These bee flies are really pretty, and they tend to stay very still when they're feeding. So they're pretty easy to photograph, compared to other insects.
never seen before..its look is very different with bee..
Especially beautiful because of how much of it is in focus! How...?
