Field Notes

Description:

Its Oct and they are finally producing. They are growing in garden boxes. I mulched and then realized I had the mulch too close to the plant and moved the mulch out and then they seemed to be happy about that cause a few days later they started producing.

Habitat:

These are being grown on the Central Coast of California in raised beds. I did have a small problem with little green grasshopper like bugs eating the leaves.

Notes:

also planted Japanese eggplant from seed but they have not produced yet.
