Description:

Lycostomus runsoriensis is a possible candidate or match.

Habitat:

Seen on a path beside Magonbe Swamp.

Notes:

Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. Located outside Kibale Forest park in Magombe Swamp. The sanctuary was set up to preserve the exclusive environmental features along with the wetland.

Welcome Pam and thanks for your confidence in my ID skills, but my Lycostomus runsoriensis was actually a "joke", however, quite a serious one ;-)... I would take Lycidae (usually without "sp.") as scientific name. But you can add Lycostomus runsoriensis as a possible candidate or match in the description section, however, without confirmation. There are tons of these lycid beetles around.
