Description:

Black, brown and tan Metallic Wood-boring Beetle about 1cm long with fuzz all over. This beetle was resting and cleaning its eyes.

Habitat:

San Diego Bush Sunflower plant in coast scrub habitat. This species is found in California, down into Central America.
