Description:

Winter: Medium sized shorebird, white head, chest and belly, belly has some faint rufous patches, unmarked gray back and wings, black around eye and behind eye, short, thick bill.

Habitat:

Beach on lake

Notes:

A very rare bird for this area, was a lifer.
