Signature spider

Notice the egg sac in the picture. She has lived in a bush outside our window all summer. This morning she was not on her web, but walking in slow, unsure steps atop a leaf near her egg sac. Her life is coming to an end. I look forward to the spring when the tiny spiders make their appearance...
