Description:

Orthetrum brachiale, the Tough Skimmer or Strong Skimmer, is a species of dragonfly in family Libellulidae.

A slightly battered specimen!

Habitat:

tropical wetlands

Notes:

Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. Located outside Kibale Forest park in Magombe Swamp. The sanctuary was set up to preserve the exclusive environmental features along with the wetland.
