Field Notes

Description:

Small epiphytic orchid that grows shoots with 1-2 pleated leaves out of which the flower stem grows.

Notes:

The flowers on this small orchid bloom during the night and wilt the nest morning. It was collected a couple years ago from nearby in the forest. My ID is probably wrong I'm guessing, as most images of S. fragrans I found had wider flower petals. But it's the closest match I could find. If anyone can correct or verify it, I'd appreciate it.
