Description:

Anise hyssop isn't a true hyssop but is a relative as a member of the mint family (Lamiaceae). The tiny flowers attract bees and butterflies by the dozens, and humans enjoy the licorice scent of the foliage.

Habitat:

Anise Hyssop is native to the northern part of the U.S. and Canada.
