Wildlife Spotting

Yeah, it could be. Though i couldnt be sure. The distribution matches but there is no yellow on the chest or wing coverts, the wings are exremely blue and the nose isnt supposed to be yellow. I reckon thats the bird, because it says in my book that it likes urban parks. Your call. Excellent researching by the way :)

The closest i got so far is the Blue-winged Parrot, neophema chrysostoma. But the body is far greener on you specimen, and the face isnt yellow. So it cant be. Can you tell me anything more about the sighting such as number of birds, feeding habits and location?

Mate, you got me. I have no idea what this parrot is. Its definately not an Australian native. Im still looking at my books so ill let you know if i get an id for this striking bird
