Description:

A tall, unique-looking Cypress tree that grows into very gnarled shapes and is often formed by the strong winds of the area.

Habitat:

Native only to the southern end of Monterey Bay. These pics were taken at a public park along the coast in northern Monterey.

Notes:

My personal favorite tree.
