Description:
The Chilean Palm is the southernmost palm in the world. It is endemic to a small area in Chile between 32°S y 35°S in the south of the region of Coquimbo and Valparaiso where it is more frequent. It has thick trunk reaching a diameter of up to 1,3 meters at its base.
