Description:

Possibly Anole santamartae? I love the toes.

Habitat:

This particular one lives in a bromeliad in North-Eastern Colombia, on the slopes of the San Lorenzo Ridge in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, above the town of Santa Marta, Colombia.

Ah ha.. I started looking up info on anoles and you are right, tere are many sub species. Even with the obvious hint of the name santamartae, there are sure to be more than one anole type here in Santa Marta. Thanks for the info!
This is an anole (Anolis sp.). There are many species of anole in Colombia including interestingly, an Anolis santamartae (note the species name and common name: Santa Marta anole). I don't know if it is your anole.
