Field Notes

Description:

Adult about 12 cm long, bright green underneath, brown dorsal side.
Egg case attached to an Eastern Red Cedar branch - approx. 3 x 4 cm, texture like styrofoam.

Habitat:

Adult found in reed canary grass along trail at the edge of a cattail marsh. Egg case found on Cedar tree in successional open field (mowed for Woodcock habitat)
