Description:

The Colaptes auratus or 'Yellow-Shafted Flicker' risides in the Eastern United States. They are yellow beneath the tail and underwings and have yellow shafts on their primaries.

Habitat:

Woodlands,forest edges, fields

Notes:

This bird was found in Missouri

this is my favorite spotting that you have posted! Sure, the animals of the zoo are amazing! The photos are nice too. However, I am a firm believer that Project Noah is an organization that is built on the premise that we should each show the actual biodiversity present in our area.
