Field Notes

Description:

Bright yellow cap & stalk. Cap slightly waxy looking. There were 4 or 5 within an approx. 10 square foot area.

Habitat:

Mixed oak/hickory successional forest, upland area. Currently very wet from excessive rain this fall.
