Marta, this is a male in winter plumage.
Is it a female or a youngster? the male is normally so black and yellow, I guess it must be, am i right? Very pretty all your birds shots. It reminds me of all the birds I liked seeing while living in the US and that I don´t see anymore since I moved to Europe :-)
