Field Notes

Description:

Slightly smaller than a Robin, this bird was foraging in the resort grounds and the edge of the woods. This bird has the characteristic blue color and orange to red breast. The white is also commonly present but this white pattern is not common.

Habitat:

Open woodlands and farmlands that have scattered trees.

Notes:

This is the first Bluebird that I've seen with the white markings. I don"t know what they are. Any ideas?
