Field Notes

Description:

Pink beaks light colored heads and white on wing. Have orange feet if you could see the. Seemed to be a family of 9 grown youngsters, the parents resting a short way away from them. They were sun-bathing close to Sunset time.

Habitat:

The large pond at Jacaranda Trace. Have never seen them there before, but discovered them when I was taking pictures of the Bombax tree I had planted there about 10 years ago.

Notes:

The second picture they sort of came at attention because a family of Gallinules were passing in the pond below them.
