Description:

These eggs were so camoflaged that i nearly stepped on them. The presence of the nest was given away by the female who was feinting a broken wing. I made sure no egg stealing birds were around before aproaching

The photo was taken in july, red-capped plovers breed throughout the year. Its spring over in Australia and there are baby birds all over the place. Im getting great phot opportunities :)
Eggs? this time of year - must be some other hemisphere ~ such a thought hadn't occured to me ... showing my hemisphericentricity
