I am very wary of saying any any fungi are edible. There are records of some species of Pleurotus causing poisoning and there are some non-Pleurotus look-alikes that are definitely poisonous. You would need to be absolutely certain of species.
Mark, thank you. With my limited knowledge of fungi, but with a little research, I think you're correct. Can I assume these are edible?
Hi David. Chicken of the Woods (Laetiporus) doesn't have gills. This must be something else. Maybe look at Pleurotus or similar?
