Description:

A small tree growing in a dense clump of its species. This particular salt cedar was flowering. It has feathery needles for leaves, red stems, and pink flowers.

Habitat:

This salt cedar was growing in the Rio Grande Bosque, a gallery forest along the river

Notes:

Salt cedars are an invasive species here.
