Lynne, aphids don't bother me - all more food for the ladybugs! :)
It's pretty common for this time of year. If they really bother you, you can spray them with soapy water. I usually don't worry about them since the flowers have already gone to seed and ladybugs tend to find them!
My milkweeds are being attacked too! :(
