Field Notes

Description:

A type of empusa, I think, as it has a cone-shaped head. It's a juvenile of this spotting http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6980269 but seen at a different place.

Notes:

The 'ears' (top part of the head) flicked up when I approached it, perhaps in a defensive gesture, and then flattened out backwards when I moved away, or stood still long enough for it to start ignoring me.
