That looks spot on Roger , similar to C. diaphana but not quite , many thanks.

Not Amata. Ceryx is unlikely too, as this genus contains very small species (for Syntomini). May I suggest you search for the genus Caeneressa ? Please can you add this observation to the http://www.inaturalist.org/projects/moths-of-thailand project?
