Notes:

Found on a public golf course off of the Bruce Trail in Milton Ontario.
These beautiful flowers were growing on either side a rocky stream among other weeds and daisies.

They are more beautiful once seen butterfly seated...
Oh.. Yes Gordon... Verbenaceae family... We have Stachytarpheta Genus in India.
This looks like blue vervain (Verbena hastata). See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_vervain for more information.
May be Acanthaceae family herb...
Look like good warm sunny weather after cloudy rainy weather ends...
