Field Notes

Description:

Two grey herons were seen fishing in the river by Dyon, Sophia and Lucia.

Habitat:

Riverine

Notes:

One of the grey herons would stand in the river being very still and catch the fish as they swam by. There were also a pair of white little egretts fishing in the same spot. I assume there was an abundance of fish to draw so many competing species.
