Bruce, I meant no offense when I suggested that the pics and names have to be the same and I am not here to criticize anybody's spottings. Sorry if you felt offended.
Satyen, obviously you didn't bother to look at the updated pictures before posting your comments. Perhaps your enthusiasm would be more useful spent helping the many users requesting help identifying pictures already up for months rather than critiquing those still in the process of finalizing their data.
Bruce, on ProjectNoah we upload pics of the spottings. You will have to upload the pic against each name, and it has to be of the same bird. I mean the name and the pic have to be of the same bird. Different name and different pic should not be uploaded. You can record them but he uploads have to be correct. I hope you will upload correct pictures soon. Happy Spotting.
Astute observations Satyen. The iPhone app won't let me save a spotting without a picture, so I had to use old pictures to record the siting. I don't have picture from yesterday's siting. My wife and children were the observers. The rarity of two pairs of differing species of crane family in the same feeding site was important enough to record the sighting. I have now updated from my laptop with more pictures from our digital camera which has much better resolution.
Bruce, since the pictures are not clear, it seems that your little heron, grey heron and little egrett are the pictures of the same bird at the same spot.
