Description:

3 inches long, newly emerged pinkish brown

Habitat:

spotted on seeding amaranth in friend's back yard

Notes:

I first noticed the exo-skeleton, but when I approached it, the new grasshopper moved, so I could get them both.

Yes the white one is the shedded skin. I know, it seems impossible, doesn't it?
