I have another spotting of a red tail hawk on PN and will probably add more to my collection over time. I see them often but am always amazed how each bird looks very different from the last. They are so photogenic :)
Great series! I saw a pair of red-tailed hawks circling overhead when I was running today- unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me!
must be a nest near you there! You should try to find it, they use them year round!!! You might be able to get some really nice pictures of them in the spring, and when the young have fledged. :-)
Very cool action shot in flight!!!!! It looks like it spotted something and was on the hunt or lookout.
