Field Notes

Description:

This is a yellowish brown, medium sized dragonfly with noticeably long legs. The thorax has three black stripes on each side and the underside of the abdomen is black.

Habitat:

Found in weedy ponds and marshes. Large colonies are often found in woods associated with ponds and marshes. Seen at Nalsarovar.
