Field Notes

Description:

A female sp. probably. It was found on a leaf near the silk shack. Size: 7-8mm. White band below the anterior median eyes. Golden brown colored abdomen and slight pinkish red coloration on the head and front legs. Pretty big posterior median and lateral eyes. Typical folded back legs. Had thick bristles of hair midway of the front pair of legs.

Habitat:

Tropical forest areas, gardens.

Notes:

These are amazing jumpers. Cannibals that feed on other spiders. Developed some mimicking habits.
This one is probably the female Sp. of this..
