Description:

This white, brown and black large bird flew overhead with another one diving at each other. Unfortunately this is the only shot I got of it.

Notes:

I suspect this is a Red-tailed Hawk

Hi Gordon, thank you for your suggestion. That's what I was thinking but since the image is lacking detail, I wasn't certain. I'll check out the link.
I believe this is an immature redtailed hawk. Redtails are so variable I hesitate to be positive, but the dark head, the dark patigial bands on the underside of the wings, and the dark belly band suggests the species. The banded tail indicates a young bird. See http://www.grahamowengallery.com/photography/hawks.html for some good examples.
