That's so exciting! I would never have put these photos up because I thought it would be way to hard for someone to identify...Yay! And, I think most "pest flowers" are beautiful.
I take it back... it's TWO ambush bugs. There's a darker one on top of a lighter one, having a moment. :)
Definitely an ambush bug! Really pretty photos too. I know thistles are generally considered weeds, but I like them a lot.
