Habitat:
Open conifer plantation in the Sierra Nevada, above 3000m; flowering as the snow line melts. Third photo.
Notes:
In many places leaf litter was covered with a web of mycelium, which had been covered by the snow all winter and numerous mouse runs were carved into it.
