Description:

This is a nymph of a (palm?) planthopper possibly from the Lophopidae family. Captured on the same coconut tree as a similar spotting two months ago: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7077253

Habitat:

This spotting on a young coconut tree (Cocos nucifera) in a large semi-urban yard/garden adjacent to a disturbed remnant patch of forest.

Notes:

Adult planthoppers (probably same species) seen on the same tree.
