Field Notes

Description:

Brown with a pretty dazzling patten made up of circles on the wings. A thin transverse white line.

Habitat:

It was drizzling and the butterfly was resting on an Ipomoea quamoclit plant. I risked getting my camera wet, so just 2 or 3 hurried shots.
i see Bushbrowns quite often; the pattern makes me go pie-eyed when I compare my photos with images on the Internet but this one matched the images well enough.
