Description:

The name refers to the club like widening of the end of the abdomen.

Notes:

Spotted this one hovering over a pond,waited for quite some time before i could get this snap.

Oh wow! We built a pond on the property here and having the plants in spring specifically for dragonflies and butterflies. Also lily pads for frogs (not poison dart my favorite. LOL) and salamanders and snakes. I can't wait. Turtles I hope too. Very excited. Your dragonfly photos I really like.
